Excellent hotel with excellent amenities like free parking, 24-hour reception, and a comfortable bar area. Staff helped me with restaurant recommendations on my first visit. I can't wait to return for Christmas!

The setting of the hotel on the beautiful golf course. Clost to where we were attending a wedding, and close to many places of interest in Shropshire. Staff were excellent. Room spacious
The hotel is in desperate need of renovation both inside and out. If this were to be done then it would be a great place to stay

Really poor, noisy room had to asked to be moved. On complaining receptionist knew that room suffered from noise from showers of adjacent rooms. No remote contro;s for tv in either room. No biscuits on hospitality tray. Had to ask 4 times for tea / coffee at breakfast, Staff very slow at filling up breakfast food hence no museli, no bread. Needs total refurbishment!!

Very amiable and outstandingly accommodating staff, terrific service. Very very good breakfast, huge suite. Extremely comfy beds, perfect after a long day in Wem. Stunning location to The Stocks. Found in a tranquil area just off pro shop, and the club house.

It was just a commendable fit for a cursory stop in Wem with best value. Breakfast was really nice with lots of choice. Consider trying the pub called the Dog and Bull nearby for dinner.

Food, staff and cleanliness of rooms excellent.
Hotel could do with urgent refurbishment. All looks very tired. Cost of drinks too high. Championship golf course was in awful condition. Drainage needs to be sorted out.

pleasant stay with room for improvement
The breakfast staff created a cute atmosphere. The spacious suite provided comfort and the good view of the golf course from the balcony made mornings enjoyable.
The overall decor felt slightly dated.
